The South Bay Raid Response Network
The South Bay Raid Response Network was created in 2008 as a response to indiscriminate ICE operations that have been separating families for the last eight years. We recognize a need in our community and came together to fill it.
Services
- Information on how to navigate the immigration detention system
- Attorney referrals for immigrant removal proceedings
- Know Your Rights and Responsibility Education Forums for community members to become educated about their rights
- Know Your Rights Cards
- Food, shelter, clothing and other crisis services provided to families affected b y ICE operations through the Catholic Diocese
- Community advocates will serve as first responders and accompany raid victims to appointments and to receive services
- Policy Advocacy to STOP Immigration Raids and enact Just and Humane Immigration Reform
- Alert the community of ICE operations and how to protect themselves against detention
- Language capacity in Spanish, Vietnamese, Portuguese and Mandarin
